Jenn & Alex were married at the Westin Copley Place over Memorial Day weekend. When we arrived, we met Jenn & the girls in their suite, which was maybe the most awesome hotel room we’ve ever been in, and we’ve been in a lot of them! Jenn & the girls got ready with spectacular views of the city on all sides, while Alex & the guys shared some of the same views a few floors down. The girls wrapped up chocolate favors as Jenn got her makeup done, and then they popped some champagne right before getting dressed. Once everyone was ready to go, we made our way down to the city streets, where Jenn & Alex had their First Look right in front of the Boston Public Library, one of our favorite buildings in Boston. The bridal party was looking on, so they were ready to go for photos as well, and we made our way through Copley Square as onlookers cheered for the bride and groom. We love a wedding in the city, it’s so much fun catching all the unexpected things that happen, like a skateboarder rolling by or strangers asking for a selfie with the bridal party! Once we were finished with photos, we headed back upstairs where guests were beginning to arrive for the ceremony. Jenn & Alex had a Harry Potter theme, and the ceremony was decked out with elaborate floral arrangements, candles hanging from the ceiling and the aisle lined with a runner made of pages from the book. So cool! After the I Dos, guests enjoyed cocktails before being invited back in to a room that had been transformed and the curtains opened to a view of Copley Square. The Harry Potter theme continued, with pages as table numbers, quotes from the book dotted throughout the centerpieces and even Jenn & Alex’s bottles of specially brewed potions as favors. The newlyweds began the party with their first dance as husband and wife, followed by toasts, dinner and dancing! It was a beautiful Harry Potter day!
Thanks and congrats to Jenn & Alex!
