Caroline & Ryan were married on a hot, sunny day at the beginning of July. We started our day with them at the Red Lion Inn, where they got ready and would have their reception later that evening. As Caroline and the girls were having their hair and makeup done, her gift from Ryan arrived, and it was one of the most thoughtful and elaborate wedding day gifts we’ve ever seen. There was new jewelry, family heirloom jewelry, a framed map of their journey, which began in Ireland and led them to their wedding day here in Boston, among other things – along with a card and a letter, which threatened to ruin Caroline’s makeup. Ryan nailed it. Caroline didn’t do too shabby herself, sending Ryan a guitar – these two started the day on a high note! Once they were ready to go, we headed outside for their First Look and some photos before making our way to the ceremony at St. Anthony’s in Cohasset. After the I Dos, the newlyweds exited the church surrounded by bubbles before we headed over to Cohasset Harbor for a few more photos before the party began! Back at the Red Lion, the barn was decked out in white flowers with plenty of greens, while the cocktail hour featured Irish music and Guinness! Ryan is from Ireland, where he and Caroline met when she was living abroad, and their Irish roots were woven throughout all the details of the day. After cocktail hour, Caroline & Ryan were introduced for the first time as Mr. & Mrs., leading right into their first dance. The party took off from there, and the band helped keep the dance floor going all night! Since we were approaching the 4th of July, Caroline & Ryan ended the night by exiting the barn surrounded by their friends, family & sparklers! It was a beautiful day, and we wish Caroline & Ryan a lifetime of happiness filled with trips to Ireland!
Thanks and congrats to Caroline & Ryan! Slainte!
