Catherine & Nick were married in early October at the Hellenic Center in Ipswich, MA. They both got ready right there on site in their separate suites, and while Catherine and the girls were finishing hair & makeup and practicing a traditional Armenian dance for the reception, the guys were sampling scotch and ordering pizza. The forecast called for rain that day, but luckily it passed through in the morning, so we were set for the First Look and photos outside on the grounds. Catherine & Nick were so sweet when they first saw each other, and the bridal party kept everything fun throughout the afternoon, considering how chilly and damp it was. Especially the girls in their short dresses! After we finished up with photos, guests started to arrive for the outdoor ceremony, and were greeted with hot cider to keep everybody warm! The outdoor ceremony space at the Hellenic Center is so pretty, under a huge old tree strung with chandeliers, and Catherine & Nick were so happy that the rain held off and they didn’t have to move the ceremony inside! Afterwards, everyone moved inside where the fire was roaring for a cozy dinner and dancing. There was a slight snag during dinner when the fire alarm went off, and everyone had to move outside and let the fire department check out the building. The staff at the Hellenic handled it like pros, and it was a brief break that was really just enough time for Catherine & Nick to get some photos with the firetruck! So it was actually kind of worth it, and totally memorable! Once everyone was back inside, they tore up the dance floor all night, and Catherine & Nick finished off the night with their last dance outside surrounded by their friends and family holding sparklers! So pretty. It was a beautiful day, and we were so happy to be a part of it.
Thanks and congrats to Catherine & Nick!
