Emily & Jon at the Red Lion Inn

Emily & Jon were married at the Red Lion Inn in Cohasset in early March, and we were so happy to kick off yet another season at the Red Lion! The day came with an unexpected all day snowfall, and it was so, so pretty. If you’re going to get married in March, this is probably the best weather you could hope for! It was just enough to cover everything with a light blanket of snow, and get rid of any feeling of end-of-winter gloom. The bride and groom both got ready at the Red Lion, before we did their First Look under the covered bridge, with snow falling all around. So romantic! After some photos at the Red Lion, we took a walk into town with the bridal party, who were amazing and never complained about being out in the cold weather. Emily looked so stunning in the snow with her fur shrug, and the wine-colored bridesmaids dresses were perfect for a winter wedding. Emily & Jon were so laid back and up for anything, which is so awesome when up against some unexpected weather. After we finished up with photos, everyone headed in to warm up before the ceremony in the barn. Emily’s aunt officiated their ceremony, and the whole day felt like two big, close families coming together. At the reception, Emily’s parents and Jon’s dad gave speeches in addition to the best man and maid of honor, and after Emily’s dance with her dad, the dance floor filled up and never stopped! Emily & Jon had a beautiful day, filled with wonderful family and friends, and we are thrilled to have started off our season on such a high note with them!

Thanks and congrats to Emily & Jon!
