Katie & Andy were married on a perfect September day on the south shore. September is probably the most popular month for weddings in the last few years, and this past September really proved why, with so many days like this. It was warm and breezy, with blue skies and the perfect light, thin cloud cover. We truly could not have asked for better weather for the portrait session at Old Scituate Light! The lighthouse is situated at the end of a long jetty, surrounded by huge, gorgeous rocks and coastline. It was the perfect spot for Katie & Andy and their large bridal party! Everyone looked amazing, and climbed those big rocks in heels without complaint! Katie & Andy were stunning, and she was wearing some fun, special details – she had a heart that was cut from her grandfather’s shirt sewn into her dress, and also had Andy’s name written on the bottom of her shoe (does the way it’s written look familiar? 🙂 ), which was a sweet surprise for him during their First Look. Once we finished up with photos, we headed to St. Paul’s in Hingham for the ceremony. After Katie & Andy were all married up, everyone jumped back on the trolley and headed for the Barker Tavern, back in Scituate. The rest of the night was a great party, with Katie & Andy’s huge group of friends and family keeping the dance floor full all night. It was a beautiful day, and we are thrilled we could be a part of it!
Thanks and congrats to Katie & Andy!
