Megan & Nate were married on a sunny July day in their neighborhood of Charlestown. Megan got ready at a hotel on the harbor, while Nate was nearby at their condo – then we all met on a pier near the Charlestown bridge for their First Look, surrounded by boats and a view of the city! We love how Megan & Nate planned for their wedding day to be really immersed in the neighborhood they know and love so much, and their intention was to have all of us and their guests walk the streets from one destination to another. So that’s exactly what we did! After the First Look, we grabbed the bridal party and made our way through the streets of Charlestown, stopping at Training Field, the Bunker Hill Monument and some of those classic tiny streets with Boston peeking up in the background. It is such a gorgeous neighborhood, we really couldn’t imagine a better place for photos! And when we were finished, we walked 5 minutes down the street to the church where Megan & Nate’s family and friends were waiting to watch them exchange vows. Once they said I Do, everyone poured out of the church and onto the street to walk along the water, through Charlestown Navy Yard and finally to the reception, which was outside at Pier 6 restaurant. The reception had a casual, cocktail vibe with amazing views of the city. Megan & Nate arrived to greet their friends, before sneaking off to the end of the pier for a quick private champagne toast and a practice run of their first dance, just as the sun was setting over the city. Everything about their day was so beautiful and unique, and so personal to them – we loved it and were so happy to be there!
