Valerie & Brian were married over Memorial Day weekend at Lake Pearl in Wrentham. We started the day with Valerie at their new home in RI, and Brian at his family home nearby. Right from the beginning, the day was full of DIY details. Val & Brian’s house was full of flowers and succulents that were used to make all of the bridesmaids bouquets, the guys’ boutonnieres, the flower girl’s crown, and all the table centerpieces. Valerie’s gown was also custom made for her, and her gorgeous bouquet was made by her sister. Not to mention that we were surrounded by all of Brian’s projects in progress, as he works to make their new house a home. When we got to Lake Pearl, Valerie & Brian had their First Look by the lake, followed by bridal party photos on the beach and in the little woodsy nook on the property. The grass was dotted with tiny white flowers, which matched their whole look so perfectly, we joked that they may have planted them there! After we finished up with photos, Val & Brian said I Do in the boathouse. They exchanged vows they wrote themselves, which were so similar, it was clear how perfectly aligned these two are. Once they were finally husband and wife, everyone headed to the tent for cocktails and toasts, which even came with visual aids by Val’s sister! The tent is so pretty on it’s own, with it’s gorgeous chandeliers, and the addition of all succulents and moss really gave it a rustic, earthy feel. It was a beautiful day that Valerie & Brian and their bridal party put a ton of work into, and we are so happy we got to be a part of it!
Thanks and congrats to Valerie & Brian!
